Katty Tolleson (b. 1997, England) lives and works in Switzerland. She studied painting at HEAD Genève and completed an MFA in Fine Arts at ZHdK Zürich in 2026.

​

Her practice moves across painting and collage, taking everyday encounters, clothing and architecture as starting points. Her paintings bring figures together in loosely observed situations: meeting, waiting or simply occupying the same space. Clothing, colour and pattern often take on a life of their own, giving otherwise familiar scenes a slightly heightened quality.

 

Her collages extend this interest beyond the figure, constructing imagined garments and architectural forms from paper, fabric and other materials. Shapes, patterns and details reappear across the work, slipping between observation and fiction.
